Diamond was born and raised in the DMV area. She grew up playing sports and tapped into her girly side once she went to college. She wanted to become independent by doing her own makeup and hair.

 Watching videos on YouTube University helped her become the beauty influencer she is today. Eventually she will begin posting pictures and reviewing beauty products which led to her developing an audience. 

What motivated you to begin sharing your beauty routines and tips online?

Diamond: “Well, it was the pandemic and people always ask me where I got something, what I have on or how to do something I did. So, I thought why not just put myself out there and share it with everyone?”

She also loves interacting with people and takes the time to like and respond to every comment on her post. Diamond shared a recent story about a meaningful interaction she had with a follower when she was at the gym. She stated, “One person in particular messaged me and said, I love when you post, it’s so inspiring. Keep going! I thanked her and I told her that posting helps me keep me accountable and I’m glad that she’s inspired by my journey. Also that she can do whatever she puts her mind to.”

The motivation that Dimes have to share with her followers and the readers reading this post is inspiring yet positive. Being able to motivate a stranger with your content and hold yourself accountable takes courage and charisma. Sounds more like an influencer who believes in herself and community.
